Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts (HSLU)

The Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts is the university of applied sciences of the six Central Swiss cantons. The research group “Light, Automation and Electrical Systems Smart technologies for energy efficiency and comfort” of the Institute of Building Technology and Energy IGE in the School of Engineering and Architecture focuses on the individual needs of the user in the areas of lighting, automation and electrical systems, and on the meaningful combination of smart technologies with existing systems. Research topics include the perceived quality of light and the measurement of light.
