Technical University of Munich (TUM)
The Technical University of Munich (TUM) is a leading research university located in Munich, Germany. Located within the TUM School of Medicine and Health, the Professorship for Chronobiology & Health focuses on characterizing human physiological and behavioral responses to light, with a particular focus on the ipRGC-influenced responses. Research includes laboratory studies examining the retinal mechanisms underlying NIF responses to light and field studies to characterize the impact of light in real-world situations. The TUM research group is functionally integrated with the Max Planck Research Group “Translational Sensory and Circadian Neuroscience” at the Max Planck Institute for Biological Cybernetics in Tübingen, Germany (see joint website here).
