The Hague University of Applied Sciences (THUAS)

The Hague University of Applied sciences  is a broad, internationally oriented university, with  about 26000 students and almost 40 research groups. Professors, together with lecturer-researchers, students and partners, conduct practice-oriented research about current and relevant social issues and build the connection between education, professional practice and society. Three research groups from THUAS contribute to the MeLiDos project, combining expertise on photonics and metrology; expertise on the understanding of user/stakeholder needs and translation of these into functional requirements of technology and end applications; and expertise on the field studies for environmental measurements with wearable sensors, including UV sensors.
